The DS1480 is a quad line receiver designed to interface data terminal equipment with data communications equipment. The device is constructed on a single monolithic silicon chip. The device satisfy the specifications of EIA Standard RS-232D. The DS1480 meets and exceed the specifications of the device and is pin-for-pin replacements.
